The weather in Egypt is warm and dry, the months of June, July and August are generally the hottest with temperatures up to the high 30's. December to January is classed as winter although temperatures rarely fall below 14C. The country experiences very low rainfall with any rain tending to fall between December and January.
The unit of currency is the Egyptian pound. Egypt is GMT + 2 ( GMT + 3 in summer).
