Sharm el Sheikh is located on the Sinai peninsula on the Red Sea and is one of Egypt's most established resorts and offers a fantastic climate with a dry desert heat and a slight breeze from the crystal blue ocean.  Most of the hotels which are located by the sea have their own private beaches. Many people come here for the Red Sea Diving and Sharm has the reputation of being one of the best dive destinations in the world. From the novice to the more experienced diver Sharm can cater for every need. There are many trips available form day trips to overnight dive excursions, Sharm actually offers over 40 different dive sites including The SS Thistlegorm a military ship which was due to deliver supplies to the British Army, to this day you can still witness much of her cargo. Another favourite is Jackson Reef which provides spectacular diving.

For those wanting to experience the real Egypt old Sharm has some lovely cafes and unique shops from designer boutiques and colourful bazzaars.  Naama Bay has an array of restaurants, bars and discos to keep you going long into the night and is the most popular area. 1Okms North you will find Sharks Bay, this area is a very popular diving area. Nabq Bay 2okms north from Naama Bay is set in a National Park and offers spectacular scenery and coluurful underwater marine life. This area is especially popular with families as the beaches are gentle slopes into the Ocean.
